Molecule Role Protective antigen
Molecule Role Annotation A NYVAC vaccinia vector containing genes for pseudorables virus glycoproteins gII and gp50 was administered to pigs to determine if it would have a greater protective effect than a vector containing the gene for gp50 alone. Both NYVAC vectors protected pigs similarly from virulent pseudorabies virus challenge (Brockmeier and Mengeling, 1996).
