The protective efficacy of each vaccination was determined by assessing animal survival rate. The highest protection efficacy was observed for combined vaccination with NcSRS2 and NcDG1 (67.5% survival) compared to control (17.4% survival). Vaccination with NcDG1 alone elicited 62.5% survival in the challenge model (Cho et al., 2005).
