DNA vaccines encoding secreted proteins Ag85B and MPT64 protect mice from the tuberculosis H37Rv strain (Luo et al., 2004). *Note* MPT64 in combination with Ag85B was protective, DNA vaccine of just MPT64 was mildly protective in mice.
